Title: It was cold, too cold....

Photo - video: Zacharias Skevofilax.

Rains, snow, thunderstorms etc.... but who cares. So once more I went spearfishing. The meteorological forecast said it was going to rain with sleet, but who cares. So at dawn I found myself getting dressed, while the north winds was blowing cold. Fortunately, it was not raining when I put on mi underwater gear!!! I expected the water to be cloudy so I got the shortest speargun I had and I was right. Mrs. Blur was faithful to her appointment. The waters were cloudy and cold. My underwater watch showed 12οC!!! Just when I got underwater, I could barely see a familiar silhouette on the mud that covered the seabed. It was a good in size common cuttlefish (Sepia officinalis). I aimed as best as I could and pressed the trigger. As a result I caught the cuttlefish, but it spitted so much ink, that made the sea so black that I could not even see my nose. (1st picture: Wellcome...). I went a little further down and started my ambushes. In an ambush, I landed near some branches that had probably brought by the bad weather of the previous days. Usually between the branches there are fish that are either hiding from their pursuers, or that are ambushing for a possible snack. I landed as softly as I could, so as not to stir up the blur and waited. In a few seconds several sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax) passed by me. The biggest ones were at most one kilo, but I was looking for bigger fish. Unfortunately no bigger fish appeared. I ambushed once more in the same spot but.... I went a little further down and dived. There were some reeds here that I knew and that in the past I had caught nice fish around them. I dived and waited. Indeed, after a while some sea bass appeared. They were a little bigger than the previous ones, but still they were smaller than what I was looking for. I decided to go a little deeper and dived. I approached the muddy bottom and waited. I also did some noise to catch the curiosity of the fish. After a while, mullets (Mugil cephalus) appeared in front of me. One of the biggest ones turned and approached me. I instinctively shot it, but in the dense blur that prevailed, I could not understand what I had accomplished. There was not the slightest resistance on the spear.
"Probably because of the cold we missed Zac..." I said to myself and swam to the surface. Bored, I reeled in the rope to bring in the spear, but I realised it was heavy. I was surprised to find out that I had not failed, on the contrary. The shot was perfect. The spear stroke the big mullet on the right side and came out just above its eyes, killing the fish instantly. (2nd picture: The first and biggest...). I happily took the fish and placed it on my buoy. In the next cartridges my head came again, but they were small. I continued my fishing looking for the coveted sea bass. In an ambush and while I was waiting at the deserted seabed, a good size sea bass appeared from my right. The fish calmly passed in front of me, giving me all the necessary time to get ready. At the right moment I pulled the trigger and the one and a half kilo of sea bass (1.4 kg) just landed dead on the muddy bottom. Bull's-eye for the second time today!!! (3rd picture: And the sea bass...). I hung it along with the mullet and continued. I was approaching the end of the fishing ground, then I would go for the eelgrass bed. In my last ambush, I hid behind some bumps on the bottom and waited. A large school of mullets came towards me. The fish were coming and going. Some were big enough, but I was looking for sea bass. At the end of the ambush, when I realised that no sea bass would appear, I shot one of the biggest mullets. This time the spear stroke the mullet in the center of its body and thus a subdued battle had started. After few seconds I had a 1.2 kg mullet in my hands. (4th picture: Here is the second one...). I swam back to where I had seen the small sea basses and dived for one last ambush. Mullets appeared but I was looking for something better. Between the mullets there was a nice sharpsnout sea-bream (Diplodus putanzzo). I aimed and shot the fish, which had given me a fairly large target, as it swam in front of me. I caught a fish of 800 gr. (5th picture: I was not expecting such a trophy...)
"One more dive and we will go for the for the eelgrass bed (Zostera marina)..." I said to myself. I found a rock in the muddy sea floor and landed on it. While waiting, I saw in front of me and a little to my left a black tube-dwelling anemone (Ceriantharia) of the seabed. I turned gently and took a beautiful video-shot of this eerie but at the same time wonderful creature of the sea. (6th picture: A deadly beauty!!!). This romantic view of mine, was the reason of scaring a good size sea bass that was coming towards me from my right. As I turned my speargun towards the fish, the sea bass changed direction and got lost into the blur. I did a few more ambushes, in case, but... Just before I entered the eelgrass bed, something caught my eye. I dive and waited. Two sea bass appeared in the murky waters. But I was not able to realise how big they were. As they passed in front of me I realised that they are not so big, marginally smaller than I wanted. As I was watching them moving away, I realised a much larger sea bass was following them from a distance. I turned my speargun and the last second I was ready to pull the trigger, the fish moves its tail violently and got lost in the thick blur. I continued the ambush making several noises to attract the fish, but it never appeared.... I did several ambushes but I did not see anything.... In one of my last ambushes, a fish was swimming away from me. Its shape, which I could barely see, reminded me of a striped sea-bream (Lithognathus mormyrus). The fish was changing directions constantly. The long eelgrass bed gave me the necessary coverage, so when I turned the speargun towards the fish, it did not seem to affect the fish. I follow the fish with the speargun and at the end of the ambush, the murmur turned and made a fatal mistake, getting a little closer. I did not expect anything better, I immediately aimed as best as I could and pulled the trigger. The spear stroke the murmur in the center of its body and began to make circles around the spear, a sign that I had succeeded in hitting its spine. (7th picture: Here is the stripped sea bream...). At that point, I decided to go out. The Almighty had provided me much more than I expected. As I was swimming I saw something strange among the seaweeds. An ocellated wrasse (Symphodus ocellatus) swam away as I was staring at its beautiful nest, which is made of seaweed. Spirals started spreading from its center, revealing the simple yet so beautiful construction. Something seemed to be in the center of the nest. I decided not to get closer as I did not want to cause any damage. (8th picture: A beautiful construction!!!). Just before I get out, I saw something familiar. A small cuttlefish had made its variation and was waiting for a treat to pass. I dived next to it. Its size was as big my finger.
"Is it possible to touch it???" I wondered. I approach it, I touched it with my finger. The small cuttlefish jumped and swam away for a meter. It landed on the seabed and waited. (9th picture: The small rascal!!!). I let it alone and went out. I changed as fast as I could due to the cold weather, cleaned the fish and drove home, enjoying the delicacies of Stavroula. Title: You fool me once shame on you, twice shame on me....

I tried to finish the various obligations I had, as fast as I could, in order to go for another dive. But I finished a little late and so in order not to miss the dive, I loaded everything in my car and I drove away. I arrived at the nearest fishing spot I knew, late in the afternoon. I had about two hours fishing before the sunset. I got dressed and dived. The waters were cold and quite cloudy. Especially in the part where the seabed was sandy, things were very difficult. As soon as I dived and started getting ready, under my fins there was a nice common cuttlefish (Sepia officinalis). By the time I got the speargun ready, the cuttlefish was slowly starting to swim away. It did not manage to move far away, because the spear of the speargun caught it. The cuttlefish stared spitting ink and soon the waters around me were a bit blackish...
(1st picture: The waters became a bit blackish...)
"Good start Zac...." I said to myself smiling. So I started my ambushes waiting to see the coveted sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax). After several fruitless ambushes they came towards me. I laid down on the rocky sea floor and waited. The black damselfish (Chromis chromis) seemed a little nervous, but I might had scared them. Who knows??? At first a school of medium-sized mullets (Mugil cephalus) seemed to approach me.            (2nd picture: Not today...). But between them there were different shapes.... Sea basses!!! But they were small. They appeared to my right, then they turned, they stood in front of me, again the same movements. At some point I realized that there was a bigger one to my right. As soon as I turned and looked at it, it disappeared in a split of a second.
"Better this way... since it wasn't so big..." I thought. A little further down in an ambush, I hid in a slit. I waited and after a while mullets appeared. The fish came from the shallows and overtook me. Several times I had a shot at a fish about a kilo, but I was looking for sea bass. I was almost surrounded by fish, since they came from all directions. After a while a large school of salema porgy (Sarpa salpa)  appeared. Some of the salema porgy were quite large.... but I remained motionless. Especially when the biggest ones appeared at the end, I reminded myself saying: "We have not come here for salema porgy, Zac..." and let the school to pass. I was waiting for something bigger to follow them but... I swam a little further down to a good fishing spot for an ambush. I dived, hid as best as I could and waited. After a while in the background two white sea bream (Diplodus sargus) appeared. The second one was the biggest one and it tempted me, but I did not give in. Mullets followed which appeared from my right. The first fish to approach were mediocre, but the next ones were very nice fish. Again I did not give in and waited for sea bass. Two sea bass appeared behind the mullets. I ignored the left one and focused on the bigger one. The fish came face to face to see me. I had a shot it, but I thought it would be better to wait as soon as it turned, to have a bigger target. It turned so fast that I was not able to do anything. It went to my right and stopped. I quickly turned the speargun, but the noise from the pulsating rubbers, scared the sea bass that disappeared in the blink of an eye. (3rd picture: Why I did not pull the trigger???)
"Oh Zac... we lost the only remarkable in size sea bass that came to us... Get out of here and come back as late as possible..." I said to myself. I swam and left this fishing spot and passed the cape. But the weather was on the north part of the cape and so the sea was much more cloudy. In the first ambush, after a few seconds, two sea bass came from my right. They were close to a kilo and I did not bother them. In the next ambush, a little further down, I was waiting in case.... A shadow appeared, it was a sea bass but also small. After a while it was followed by a mullet a little bigger than the sea bass. I waited for a while..... As I was heading northern, the place was getting more and more muddy. I made some fruitless ambushes and decided to go back. But in my last ambush I landed in front of a rock. I stayed there maybe.... Seeing that nothing was coming, I turned to film something spectacular. Two beautiful Mediterranean fanworms (Sabella spallanzanii) gave a different show to the cloudy and hazy landscape.      (4th picture: Beauty!!!). The strong waves shook their opened spirals and yet they remained so calm. They looked like ballet dancers who simply followed the rhythm of the waves... They rocked along at a rhythm imposed by the intense waves. Looking at them, an incredible calmness took over me, as I admired these so simple beings, which, however, were created with so much Wisdom!!! I took the road back and I was wondering if I would see the sea bass again. I went to the area where I had seen the sea bass. I dived, hid and waited. I saw several baitfish and soon the salema porgy appeared. Behind the salema porgy and further away was the silhouette I was looking for. I did not know how big it was. I made various sounds and so I caught the sea bass's attention. The sea bass approached me very slowly and suspiciously. As soon as it entered the shooting range, I aimed as best as I could and pulled the trigger. (5th picture: I did..). The spear stroke the fish over its eye. The sea bass violently hit its tail, trying to get rid of the spear. I approached it calmly, but as I looked at the fish, I noticed that the spear had not outgrown the fish as much as I would have liked. My senses went to the maximum... I stopped what I was doing and dived on the fish to secure it. Both flaps of the spear were closed and out of the body of the fish!!! I grabbed it by the gills and gave it a quick end with my knife. The spear had succeeded hitting its target over the eye, passing through the hard bones of the skull and barely came out on the back of the fish. (6th picture: Lucky...). I took the sea bass in my arms (1.9 kg), kissed it many times and apologised to it for the pain I had caused it. Satisfied with the outcome of the fishing, I decided to get out without fishing.              (7th picture: The biggest one, 1.9 kg). But the sea had different plans. At a depth of less than 1.5 m, under some flat rocks, saddled sea-breams (Oblada melanura) were getting in and out. I dived and caught one of the biggest. (8th picture: The saddled sea-bream). As I arranged it, my gaze caught a movement on the adjacent rock. A beautiful white sea bream was hidden in the shadow provided by the rock. I dived as quietly as I could. I did not have an underwater flashlight with me, because I did not expect something like that to occur, so I try to see what happens under the rock, which had a 2nd opening at the other end and thus provided me with minimal visibility. The white sea bream made the mistake and moved in fear of me. It gave me the needed opportunity and I shot it. Not knowing how good my shot was, I grabbed it under the rock. I was right, because the shot was low in its belly and the white sea bream of 430 gr could easily get free and I would definitely lose it. (9th picture: ... and the white sea bream...). I went out, wore my cloths, cleaned the fish and returned home, tired, but full of energy!!!

μας!!! Long live our fishing madness.....

You may find this article in English at the end of the Greek version.

Title: Long live our fishing madness.....

Long live our fishing madness.....

Photo- video: Zacharias Skevofilax.

This article is especially dedicated to all the crazy lovers of the sea!!!
The weather forecast announced that the frost named Elpida (Hope) was approaching. So I loaded all my diving gear in the car and with the hope that the sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax) would have come to the shallows, I drove for the fishing spot I had chosen. The dawn found me dressing at 3οC, while Elpida was showing me its teeth. (1st Picture: It was a bit cold!!!). An icy north wind was blowing and after a while the snow started to fall. My mother came to my mind.... if she could see me would say:
"Are you crazy my son, where are you going with such weather???? you are going to catch a cold...." I smiled... How many times in the past this had happened??? Countless times. I dived in the cold waters of 13οC. Visibility was good enough I could say. I did several dives to worm-up my lungs and started the ambushes. I did not see anything. In one of my many ambushes, I landed on a tuft of seaweed. Nothing. But in front of me and on the left there was a Mediterranean fanworm (Sabella spallanzanii). It had spread its dark petals and was gathering plankton for its breakfast. (2nd Picture: Another sea beauty!!!). When I realised that nothing was approaching me, I proceeded it to get a better video shot. At the end of my dive I touched it. With a gentle and calm movement, it moved into its straw-house and disappeared... The whole scene filled me with hope and reminiscing some similar moments from the past, I continued my ambushes. A little further down, while I had not seen anything special... a stone on the sandy sea floor, caught my attention. I approached and saw a damaged concrete cement block. But in one side it hosted a common octopus.(Octopus vulgaris). It could barely fit in. I approached it to see how big it was. I played with it, caressed it and in an instant it stretched out one of its tentacle. I caught it and the octopus jumped out of the hole. It was about a kilo. (3rd Picture: It could !!!). It made its way to shallower waters and I just stared at it and envied it for its easiness of sliding through the water. I continued the ambushes without much success. In one of them I landed at the seabed and waited. The north winds had blurred the water a lot, but I did not mind at all. While a minute and 10'' had passed, I realised that a good size sea-bass had swam in front of me. The fish came straight to my ambush, while I was dreaming and I almost lost the fish. When it turned to leave, I shot it in the side and caught the first fish of the day which weighted 1.28 kg. (4th Picture: The first one of the day...)
"Thank God that we got out of lethargy on time and did not lose the fish Zac..." I said to myself. I did not see anything in the next ambushes and so I got out of the water and drove to another fishing spot. In an ambush, a large school of bogue (Boops boops) appeared to my right. The fish were a little nervous and were constantly changing directions, showing me that something was chasing them. I waited but saw nothing again.
"There is a predator around..." I thought. After the necessary rest, dived again in the same spot. But the bogues had disappeared. I waited as long as I could, in case a
predator might appeared. After a while, I noticed from my left something was coming at me. Its silhouette reminded me of sea bass and probably it was good in size. It really came very close to me and as it turned, I pulled the trigger. The spear found its coveted target in the back and the sea bass fell on the seabed. Immediately it started shaking to get rid of the spear, but... It was a wonderful sea bass off 1.7 kg.       (5th Picture: Here is the biggest one...). I was impressed that it had marks on its head, silver dots. I have rarely seen this in the sea bass that I have caught in the past. After a while I found again in the school of the bogues. I do not know if it was the same school of fish, but it also had countless members. But these fish were all swimming together towards one direction, unlike our previous meeting. I was waiting hidden in my post... when something appeared on the horizon. Something white, triangular and in the blurry waters. I was not able to see it clearly. It seemed that it was approaching me without making any movements!!! A large common eagle ray (Myliobatis aquila) appeared in front of me in full glory. Rarely, it fluttered its wings and was sliding in the water for long distance. I left my post and crawled towards the eagle ray. It fearlessly continued its course. I could see its hazy colours, but they gave it an eerie nobility. Its back had dark oily colour with hazy blue-light blue vertical wavy lines. Towards the tail the lines were broken as if the Poet of Heaven took His brush and simply Touched it in various places. Its tail was thin, long and was over 2 meters long. It passed by me so close that I touched it with my speargun and then he fluttered violently its wings and disappeared into the deep blue with incredible speed. It must have been over 30 kilos in weight!!! (6th Picture: Hi there...).
"You are very lucky my friend that Peter is not here or we did not met in Karpathos island... The results would have been completely different!!!" I told the eagle ray with a smile, as it got lost into the deep. At that moment, I had reached the end of this fishing grounds and so I got out. I went by car to another fishing spot, mainly because I wanted to see what was going on in this place that was small. In my opinion, the best fishing spot was about fifty meters long. I dived and started the ambushes. Two little sea bass swam towards me, made a circle around me and left. In the next ambush the same thing happened. Only this time it was a sea bass and a medium-sized mullet (Mugil cephalus) again and I did not bother them. In the next and last ambush, while waiting hidden behind a rock, I perceive a glow from my right. I turned gently and saw two nice mullets approaching me. I let the first one to pass and aimed the second one that seemed a little bigger. (7th Picture: The last one of the day...). The spear hit its target in the back and I caught a 1.2 kg mullet and swam to get out. But at the depth of about one meter, there was a pink-purple jelly fish (Pelagia noctiluca ), one of the many I had seen today. Although its long and slender tentacles were amputated (I do not know why), a school of lilliputian fish found shelter between its thick tentacles, thus escaping from any possible predators. I got the video shot I wanted and went out.    (8th Picture: Even wounded, it provided shelter!!!). I got dressed as fast as I could, because the north winds were very cold and the sun was biting, I cleaned the fish and went home.
P.S.1. Only someone who experiences what I had experienced today or in any  other fishing expeditions can understand this madness.... and I do not exchange it for anything....(9th Picture: We are going to miss you Miltara...)
P.S.2. As soon as I finished this article, I was informed that my friend Miltiadis is no longer among us. Have a good trip my friend and brother. May the earth rests lightly on you. Who knows Miltara, maybe we will meet again one day, hopefully under better conditions, especially for you. (See the article "Homeless Christmas")

Surprises in murky waters....

You may find this article in English at the end of the Greek version.

Title: Surprises in murky waters...

Title:
Surprises in murky waters...

Photo- video: Zacharias Skevofilax & Stavroula Panagea.

The weather forecast was predicting that south winds would start blowing early in the afternoon. Stavroula and I, tried to be at sea before the change of the direction of the winds and later on to fish in the south winds. I got dressed, dived and swam for deeper waters before the sea became blurry. Deep down I found almost nothing. All my ambushes were fruitless. At one point, while I was swimming in the surface, I noticed a plastic container on the sea bed.
"Do you think that...???" I wondered and dived. I was right, but the resident was too small. A common octopus (Octopus vulgaris), about 800-900 gr. had turned the plastic container into its home. As I approached it, the octopus changed colour and looked like the rest of the surroundings and got stuck to the bottom remaining motionless. I observed it and left it alone. (1st picture: The little one and its home!!!). A little further down and while the sea began getting blurry, I noticed that something was on the sea floor, that did not look right. I dived and saw another common octopus. It had variated on the sand and was waiting for a snack to pass-by. I landed in front of it and approached it up front with the underwater camera, while with my other hand I approached it from behind. It swelled to look bigger, hopping that would scare me. As soon as it realised my other hand, it tried to get away, but I grabbed it by its head and swam to the surface. Then I realised that it was at most one kilo. I put my hand on it so to stick on, to catch its breath and when it was ready it could leave. Indeed, after few seconds, it came off my hand while spiting plenty of ink, swam for the sandy bottom, happy that it managed to escape from its huge pursuer. But the south winds had begun to blow strongly. In less than half an hour, everything was very blurry. So I swam towards the shallows. I put on some extra weights on my back and started my shallow ambushes. In one of the many ambushes, I landed next to some rocks. At first only small two-banded sea breams (Diplodus vulgaris) came to se me and then to my right a large school of bogue (Boops boops) appeared. But the fish were quite frightened and were changing directions. I waited patiently, looking for the predator. In vain. I rested for a while and after taking a very deep breath, I dived. I landed a little further down, but this time I knew which direction the predator would come. In the beginning the baitfish were calm. After several seconds had pasted, the black damselfish (Chromis chromis), the bogue and general speaking all the bait fish swam nervously towards the bottom and moved away from my right. I turned slowly to my right and froze. I saw three big in size leerfish (Lichia amia) staring at me motionless, about a meter above the seabed. With their silver-blue bodies they floated in the water. The fish did not approach me at all and slowly moved away to deeper waters. I did countless ambushes, but I never saw them again. I continued without any result. In one of the last ambushes, just before I left the seabed, a nice sharpsnout sea-bream (Diplodus putanzzo) visited me. The fish stayed away from the bottom and was looking at me from a distance. It is about four meters away and it was not approaching me. After a while when it turned to leave, I pulled the trigger. The spear stroke the fish in the back and came out a little above its head. The momentum of the spear, together with its weight, forced the sharpsnout sea-bream to lie on the seabed. I picked it up and decided to change the fishing spot.         (2nd picture: The beautiful sharpsnout sea-bream...). Knowing that to get to the next cape, I had to swim a long distance of a sandy bottom, I got out. We got in the car, drove and I dived. I found the rocks I was looking for and started the ambushes. Here, the sea was even more cloudy as the south winds were stronger. I did a lot of ambushes without seeing anything big. In of them a large school of mullets approached me. The fish were nervous at first and I waited to see what was chasing them. After a while the mullets calmed down, showing me that they were terrified of my presence. I waited a while and even when I realised nothing else's coming, I aimed at one of the biggest mullets. The spear hit the fish in the spine and the mullet fell trembling to the seabed. The fish was about a kilo in weight (3rd picture: The first mullet...). I hung it on my belt and continued. The south winds were getting stronger, making my fishing even more difficult. At the next ambush and while I was landed on the rocky bottom, I just saw a large scissor-tail getting lost in the murky waters.
"Definitely a leerfish and probably a big one ..." I thought. As I was swimming, I saw see many black damselfish gathered. I took a deep breath and dived. The fish were nervous but the waves shook me a lot forcing me to change my ambushing spot. (4th picture: The terrified baitfish...). I looked left and right trying to see the cause of the nervousness of the bait fish. As I turned my head to the right, I saw a leerfish approaching me from the deep. Without a second thought, I aimed and pulled the trigger. The fish started violent blows and because its abrupt changes in direction, almost got tied-up with the fishing rope. Because my shot was low on its belly, I did not put any pressure on the fish at all. The fish was running and changing direction so fast that I just admired its amazing speed and agility. But this is leerfish behaviour.... Slowly I brought it in my hands and realized that it was a small fish.    (5th picture: The predator was small in size...). I felt sorry for my mistake, but if I left it free would not live because of the wound... I had the impression that it was one of the fish I had seen earlier, but I was wrong. I decided to returned. Wherever I liked the spot, I dived. So in a dive, I landed on a rock. A huge school of mullets was passing by in front of me. The fish passed by and had no end. Seeing nothing else, I aimed one of the largest one and pulled the trigger. The spear stroke the mullet in the neck and after a while I had in my hands another fish about a kilo in weight. (6th picture: The second mullet...). In one of the many ambushes I did, I noticed, while I was very well hidden, all the small fish and mullets were running scared. Especially since I was behind the rock, some fish could not justify their fear. I crawled a little forward, when a great black cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo) passed by me. With its tail and head outstretched, it was over a meter long and in the murky waters it looked huge. At that point I decided to go out. I did a few more ambushes on the way back, maybe the leerfish would come to me again but... I caught a striped sea-bream (Lithognathus mormyrus) and in the last dive I saw a big school of mullets again. (7th picture: The striped sea-bream...). I waited to see if something bigger was following them and finally I caught another mullet about a kilo. (8th picture: Third and last one...). As I approached the small bay from where I had dived, I notice that the sea surface was covered with whatever someone could imagine. The south winds had brought burnt wood, reeds, plastic bags, ropes and whatever else comes to your mind. I got out heavy hearted because of the abominable spectacle. (9th picture: The south winds "presents"!!!). I cleaned the fish, but the Almighty did not want to let me leave with a heavy heart. The rain had stopped and here and there the light passed through the clouds making the landscape magical. As the white clouds were scattering, a a thought came to my mind and I said it out loud for my love to hear it:
"Is is as the Almighty has shaken His tablecloth and plenty of powdered sugar has been scattered in the sky!!!" In fact, at the end of the horizon there were some thick, white columns of clouds and I could not help but point out: "There He is still Shaking His tablecloth!!! How beautiful is our house, our Earth, our planet. If we realised that we were invited to this wonderful planet, we might be better off treating it. It does not belong to us, we pay rent..." These thoughts calmed me down. We ate the incredible delicacies that my love had prepared, admiring the beauty of the scattered powdered sugar and the foamy sea, while the sun was getting lost from the horizon. (10th picture: One of the many beauties of our "home"!!!). When we finished our Loukleio dinner and with our batteries charged full once again, we returned home!!!
